As we continue improving the FiniAC service, we’re rolling out another set of updates across the platform. This wave of changes is focused on improving existing detections and overall usability for server owners.
New Features
- Self Service API Keys - Self service API key management which allows server owners to create and manage access to the FiniAC API system independently without intervention from FiniAC staff.
- Permission Groups - Introducing Permission Groups whereby Server Owners can now bundle a set of permissions under a single name. Once created, this group can be applied to any user from the Users page.
- Permissions will be replaced with the group's permissions when saved. This is a quick way to keep roles consistent across your team without setting permissions individually each time.
- Discord Bot Updates - The FiniAC Discord bot has received further updates to improve, inter alia, reliability and escalation to staff for tickets requiring additional support.
- The FiniAC bot now also learns over each ticket that is created and resolved. This is part of our continuous push to improve our customer experience.
Updates
- EventValidation Updates - We’ve added significant new logic to strengthen event security and improve coverage of EventValidation.
- These updates are part of an initial batch of updates and form part of the wider strategy to provide stronger protection against malicious event execution.
- ExplosionAI Updates - ExplosionAI has received additional updates to further improve detection accuracy and reduce minor false positives.
- Statebag Rate Limit Changes - Updated how statebags are handled to identify and prevent abuse by the spamming of statebags.
- SpoofedClientVehicle - An additional detection designed to block cheaters attempting to spawn in vehicles, and is one of many configuration options which combat this cheat option.
